Let's suppose you have two computers on which you are working, a home and and a work computer. There are times when you need to connect to each other, for sharing files or for accessing the Internet using the work's computer IP address. The Windows operating system doesn't have an option for this, so the only thing left to do is to turn to a 3rd party application that supports this feature. Such an application is Super Network Tunnel. The program allows anyone to connect to a network computer and use his IP address as if he was actually using that computer. Thus, one can access some restricted websites or the Intranet of the company that otherwise would be impossible to access.

The software is compatible with almost any version of the Windows operating system and takes little time and effort to install. It takes up little hard disk space and it's gentle with the system resources, requiring just an average computer for working without problems.

The software is practically composed of two components, the server and the client. Installing the server should be done on the computer that needs to be accessed, while the client application should be installed on all the computers that must access the server.

After setting up the server and configuring the IP address and the server password, the client software just needs to add that IP and also the password of the server. After doing this, the user can access any website using the server's IP address. Thus, he will be able to browse without any restrictions to the company website as if he was browsing using the server computer. Besides that, he can remotely control the server's desktop. Furthermore, using the FTP server, the client can access all the files located on the server as if he was browsing through local files, using a Windows Explorer-like application.

Pros

It allows anyone to securely connect to a server computer using a password, allowing one to surf the web using the IP address of the company, thus bypassing some limitations regarding Intranet access. Besides that, the client computer can control the server's desktop remotely.

Cons

The client application must be installed on all the computers that require access to the server. Super Network Tunnel is the perfect solution for remotely accessing a computer from any location.
